Conference Post Presentation Submission
The poster must include:
- Title
- Author
- School logo
- Facility logo if applicable
- Introduction/Abstract
- Literature Review
- Methods (if applicable)
- Discussion
- Conclusions
- References
Remember this is not a paper. This is a poster that the viewer should be able to read in less than 3-5 minutes. If it is too busy they will not stop at your poster. If it has a title that catches their attention and pictures or graphics that are eye catching they are more likely to stop and ask about your project. The goal of a poster presentation is to get a viewer\\\’s attention and tell them just enough to get them to ask you more questions so you can disseminate your findings. Sometimes your project poster must stand alone and you will not be able to answer questions so all aspects of your project must be presented from beginning to end but in very small bytes and be visually pleasing.
The Make Signs website above also has tutorials demonstrate how to make the best visual interpretation of your project. This assignment is intended to expose you to the world of poster presentations at conferences and hopefully motivate you into submitting your own poster for display.
Expectation: Submit the Conference Poster Presentation in PowerPoint format.
- Important note for all submitted work: Please do not use any external formatting in the Word documents submitted for grading. For example; tools that assists with citations or bibliography may not submit properly and impact the look of the poster and subsequently the grade.
