INTRODUCTION – Advancing Scientific Knowledge, Implications, and Contributions

The purpose of the transcultural assessment is to explore a patient population and culture unlike your own. Frame your research paper to the population and health issue that you wish to study. Conduct your community assessment using the listed criteria as a guide. Develop a plan/program for your population at risk. Include a nursing theory (from one of the 4 assigned transcultural articles) as the cultural framework. Identify stakeholders in your community to hypothetically collaborate with on your project.  Describe the interventions you would hypothetically implement for your selected patient population.
