What factors would influence the results of the levels-of-processing experiment?

due in 12 hours

Using the CogLab CD accompanying your course textbook, complete the levels-of-processing experiment and create a report on the experiment.
In your report, write a brief introduction of the experiment explaining the levels-of-processing framework. Next, in the Methods section, describe the process that you followed to complete the experiment. Make sure to include enough information so that others can also perform the same experiment successfully.
Finally, describe the experimental results in all the three conditions. In addition, identify the condition where you performed the best and the worst. Provide a rationale explaining why the results differed in all the three conditions. Summarize your report, including answers to the following questions:

  • Were the results in accordance with your expectations? Provide a rationale to support your answer.
  • Did anything about the experiment surprise you? If yes, what?
  • What factors would influence the results of the levels-of-processing experiment?

Name your report: SU_PSY3002_W6_A2_LastName_FirstInitial.doc.
Submit your report in a Microsoft Word document to the W6: Assignment 2 Dropbox by Week 6, Day 6.

Is the set of claims an argument?

The Structure of Statements: Translating If and And Statements

This exercise will help you become more proficient at recognizing, translating, and evaluating if and and statements. In this assignment, find two examples for the exercise; translate the claims of the example into symbolic form; identify an if or an and statement; then assess it.
Note: Translation and assessment are tools we use to categorize statements. Therefore, you will not be penalized if, through translation and assessment, you learn a statement that appeared to be an if or an and statement is a statement of another type.
The completed assignment must contain the original claims, your translation of the claims into logical form, and your assessment of the statement in logical form. The original examples should be three to five sentences in length.
Your assessment should include answers to the following questions:

  • Is the set of claims an argument?
  • Is the original claim (when translated) an if . . . then or and statement?
  • Did the translation of the original claims reveal the statement was a different kind of statement than you originally believed?

You must cite the source of information you use in your argument appropriately. Apply current APA standards for editorial style, expression of ideas, and format of text, citations, and references.

Discusses cultural characteristics that impact the selection and application of assessment tools.

If your fieldwork site does not use any methods for a formal evaluation process with clients, select at least one assessment tool that you believe would be appropriate for your client, and discuss its use with your site supervisor.  A structured interview, biopsychosocial assessment, and genogram are less intrusive methods of assessment than using a developed instrument and should be discussed as possibilities with the site supervisor. Once you have permission from your supervisor to use this assessment method, set up a time to administer it with your client.
After you have collected client, couple, or family data using the various assessment tools given to you by your agency or organization (as well as any other assessment tool from your readings, with your site supervisor’s approval), synthesize, summarize, and write your assessment of the client, in a 3–4 page paper that:
5.      Offers a brief description of your client, couple, or family, omitting any personally identifying information.
6.      Describes the rationale for using these particular assessment forms (that is, agency policy, diagnostic clarification, and so on).
