RESEARCH ABOUT WOMEN’S STATUS IN THE EARLY REPUBLIC WHEN THE REPUBLICANS COME TO POWER IN 1800-1824. TALK ABOUT WOMEN’S TYPE OF EDUCATION, HOW LAWS WERE GIVEN TO THEM, AND WOMEN AND CHURCH GOVERNANCE

Instructions are below on the document I uploaded and just make sure the paper has a thesis – that is, something you’re trying to prove ABOUT women’s status.

FORMAT: Research papers must include:

  • COVER PAGEwith your name, paper title, and semester.

  • An OUTLINE PAGE with yourTHESIS STATEMENT
  • 1 page or less, with a thesis statement (saying what your paper will show or what it will prove about your topic).
  • An outlineshowing how you plan to develop your topic is required and should be placed at the beginning of your paper.
  • The outline shows, in abbreviated form, how your paper will be organized.
  • It should be a page or less. SAMPLE OUTLINE.

  • 7 to 10 PAGES OF TEXT(typed, double-spaced).
  • Do not submit less than 7 pages.
  • You must have at least 7 full pages of TEXT. SAMPLE PAPERwith endnotes.
  • If you type footnotes at the end of the paper, this page DOES count as part of your 7 pages.
  • Your Bibliography does NOT count as part of the 7 pages.
  • Any quotes in your paper that are over 3 linesmust be INDENTED AND SINGLE-SPACED.

  • FOOTNOTES or ENDNOTES(no “parenthetical” citations).
  • The paper must include at least three PRIMARY and four SECONDARY sources (see explanation below).
  • You MUST cite the source for any material that is not your own.
  • This is done using a footnote (“endnotes” are also acceptable).
  • Use the footnote form in either the Chicago Manual of Style or Kate Turabian’s A Guide for Writers of Term Papers, Theses, and Dissertations.
  • Do notuse parenthetical citations (that is, an author’s name and a page number in parentheses at the end of a sentence).
  • Ask Dr. Thomas or a reference librarian for assistance.
  • Do not use encyclopedias.
  • Do not use online encyclopedias, such as Encarta or Wikipedia.
  • SAMPLE FOOTNOTESformat.

  • A BIBLIOGRAPHY PAGE with Primary and Secondary sources separately.
  • A Bibliography is different from Endnotes or Footnotes.
  • A Bibliography goes at the very end of your paper, on a separate page – AFTER the Endnotes.
  • Follow the bibliographic form found in either the Chicago Manual of Style or Kate Turabian’s A Guide for Writers of Term Papers, Theses, and Dissertations.
  • A bibliography is alphabetized by author’s last name.
  • For THIS paper, you must separate the bibliography into Primary and Secondary sources.  But for most research papers, you do not do that.
  • Ask Dr. Thomas or a reference librarian if you need assistance.
  • SAMPLE BIBLIOGRAPHY(scroll down ½  page).

  • Writing assignments must be typedand double-spaced.
  • ACC Learning Resource Centers(libraries) have computers available to students.

THESIS:
Your paper must argue a thesis -that is, something you are trying to prove about your topic.

    • It is not enough to say what happened and when – you must argue the historical significance of your topic.
    • For example, if you are writing about Women on the Home front during the Civil War, you could argue that women played roles critical to success, such as working in government offices, growing crops, running businesses, and providing critical nursing care for soldiers.
    • Your paper would then discuss and support this argument by giving evidence (examples) from historical sources. State your thesis on the OUTLINE page.
    • Example of a thesis statement:

Describe how a smaller company could benefit from utilizing the 100% rule.

PART A: 400-500 WORDS

The 100% rule is used in decision modeling to determine whether or not a change in project constraints or variables will affect the outcome of a decision. Under the 100% rule, any combination changes can occur without a change in the solution, as long as the total percentage deviation from the coordinate extremes does not exceed 100%.

Large companies are constantly making changes to projects and frequently use the 100% rule to compare simultaneous changes and how they will impact the bottom line. Now, take into account a small company with less than 50 employees, and describe how a smaller organization could benefit from utilizing the 100% rule.

  • Describe how a smaller company could benefit from utilizing the 100% rule.
  • In your opinion, would it be effective for smaller organizations to utilize this rule?
  • Can the coefficient of a decision making variable change while the optimal point remains the same?
  • Does the feasible region change?
  • Can RHS value of a constraint be changed?
  • Does the feasible region change?
  • Can OFC values be changed?

FUNDAMENTAL PROPERTIES OF AC CIRCUIT/LAB

EE115 Fundamental Properties of AC Circuit/Lab
TEXT, DESCRIPTION, AND OBJECTIVES
Required Text
Schultz, M. (2016). Grob’s Basic Electronics (12th Edition). New York, NY: McGraw-Hill Publishing.
ISBN: 9780073373874
Course Description
This course is a continuation of EE105. The student is introduced to the concepts and laws which describe the behavior of AC circuits. After an introduction to capacitive and inductive circuits, the behavior of RL, RC, and RLC circuits is analyzed using circuit theories. Transformer theory is also covered. A circuit simulation tool is used to build and test AC circuits and to demonstrate the use of an oscilloscope.
Course Objectives
⦁ Identify a sinusoidal waveform and its characteristics.
⦁ Apply the basic circuit rules to resistive AC circuits.
⦁ Calculate peak, peak to peak, and RMS voltage in an AC circuit.
⦁ Explain the operation of an oscilloscope as it is used to measure AC waveforms.
⦁ Explain how capacitors and inductors work in an AC circuit.
⦁ Describe how a transformer is constructed and how it increases or decreases voltage.
⦁ Describe the relationship between current and voltage in an RC circuit.
⦁ Describe the relationship between current and voltage in an RL circuit.
Prerequisites

How the disorder develops over time with treatment

Final Project- Components
Section I:  Introduction
This  section should provide a general introduction to the topic as well as  an overview of the background and history of the disorder. Further, it  should provide a succinct thesis statement of the purpose and overall  direction of the paper.  For instance, if your paper will have a large  focus on the role of particular neurotransmitters in the etiology of the  disorder as a rationale for treatment options, you should indicate this  in the introduction. Finally, this section should provide demographic  data that indicates the prevalence of the disorder in both general and  specific populations.
Specific required components of the Introduction:
Succinct thesis statement (one or more sentences detailing the focus  of your Final Project and informing the reader about your topic and the  scope of your paper)
Define the type of disorder

Ethnicities
Section II: Discussion
This section  should make up the majority of the Final Project in terms of size.  Here, you will expand upon the main aspects of the disorder and provide  details relating to the disorder and its management. This section should  provide specific and detailed information (Reminder: All statements of  fact require an in-text citation).   Cited/referenced sources should be  used to support your analysis of the components of the discussion.
Specific required components of the Discussion section:
