How can all six creatures get across to the other side of the river in a way that guarantees that they all arrive there with the forest intact?

3 paragraph and reference Hw 2

Three hobbits and three orcs are on a river bank. The hobbits and orcs need to cross over to the other side of the river. They have for this purpose a small rowboat that will hold just two. There is also this problem: if the number of orcs on either river bank exceeds the number of hobbits on that bank, the orcs will eat the hobbits on that bank.
How can all six creatures get across to the other side of the river in a way that guarantees that they all arrive there with the forest intact? Try to solve the problem and post your solution.
Please include the following in your response:

What are the consequences of abruptly stopping the medication once a person has been taking it?

Medication Paper

Consider one of your clients who is currently taking a psychotropic medication (or more than one). If you do not already know, find out what the medication is, its dosage, how long the client has been taking it, and what your client’s thoughts are about taking the medication. If you are not working with a client who is taking medication, you can develop a hypothetical client for the purpose of this assignment; you will need to provide a brief description of the client (including demographics and presenting issues or symptoms). Consider the following points:

  • What were your client’s symptoms before he or she started taking the medication?
  • What changes has he or she noticed since beginning the medication? This would include both a lessening of symptoms and/or any side effects.
  • Has he or she had any difficulty taking the medication as prescribed?

Next, research this medication using your text, suggested readings, or other resources you may find. Answer the following questions:

  • What are the indications and contraindications for taking this medication?
  • What are the common side effects?
  • What are the consequences of abruptly stopping the medication once a person has been taking it?

Write a 3–4 page paper (not including title page or references) outlining your findings. Be sure to consider all of the points outlined above. In addition, add a section at the beginning to briefly describe your client (omitting all identifying information) and a section at the end, outlining how you would address medication with this client. Refer to the grading criteria for this assignment in the Medication Paper Scoring Guide, which is linked in the Resources.

Briefly summarize the main elements of each theorist’s analysis of cognitive development during the transition from adolescence to early adulthood.

Cognitive developement

Chapter 7 of the course textbook examines theories of cognitive development during adolescence and later adulthood. For this assignment, refer to the textbook and two peer-reviewed journal articles to compare and contrast the theories and models of two cognitive theorists with respect these stages of human development.
In your paper, account for or respond to the following:

  • Briefly summarize the main elements of each theorist’s analysis of cognitive development during the transition from adolescence to early adulthood.
  • Compare and contrast the two approaches to this critical and difficult stage of development, illustrating in what ways, and with respect to what issues, each approach provides insights and/or exhibits shortcomings.
  • Compare and contrast cognitive development during adolescence versus early adulthood, evaluating whether and to what extent one or the other stage is more or less amenable to one of the two frameworks examined.
  • Be sure to integrate terms and research associated with major cognitive theories into your analysis such as egocentrism, inductive reasoning, or fluid/crystalized intelligence.

Your paper should be 1200-1600 words in length and cite and integrate at least two peer-reviewed journal articles.
