Define what a moral agent is and how it relates to nursing.
Explain how nurses are moral agents/advocates for their patients. For example how we advocate for those patients who are deemed incompetent to make decisions for themselves. We as nurses cannot make those decisions for them but it is our responsibility that the patient is getting the best care and make sure there is someone making those decisions for the patient appropriately.
