Analysis of Sexual Violence

Sexual violence is an all-encompassing term that includes sexual acts committed against someone without his or her consent. The National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence (NISVS) survey collects data on five types of sexual violence: rape, sexual coercion, unwanted sexual contact, forced penetration, and noncontact unwanted sexual behavior.
