A Successful Paper Will
Argue for a single, focused, debatable thesis that answers one of the guiding questions
Be organized into three sections: an introduction that states the thesis, a body that proves the thesis, and a conclusion that reflects on why the thesis matters
Use textual citations to support all claims about Hamlet. Citations include quotations and paraphrase (putting the meaning in your own words and sentence structure)
Comment on all citations, interpreting the textual evidence
Be built on strong paragraphs that (1) support the thesis, (2) have clear topic sentences, (3) include textual evidence and interpretation of that evidence.

Cognitive Learning

Purpose: This activity aims to enhance reflection, facilitate critical thought, and express feelings in writing about challenges and successes encountered during role transition clinical experiences. Journal writing provides students with the opportunity to return to experiences in an attempt to develop new perspectives that can guide future nursing practice. Cognitive Learning (2 points)Identify at least two skills or concepts that were learned or reinforced in clinical. This could be actual tactile skills (like suctioning or Foley insertion, for example) or other skills – like giving reports, communicating with patients or families, dealing with conflict, managing your time, etc.

(This could be anything related to physical or psychosocial skills.) (1 pt.)

How will you conduct your research (library, archives, interviews, online, blogs, videos, etc.)? Give some brief background information of the topic. What difficulties might you encounter in doing this work, and how might you overcome them?

Choose a topic that demonstrates understanding of the relationship between popular music and social movements. This topic must go beyond course material. Preferably, you will choose a topic that we have not discussed through course material. You may choose a topic outside the U.S. Or, you may want to dig deeper into a topic that we have touched on, but not had time to delve into. Also, feel free to focus on current events and music.

The proposal must include a preliminary bibliography of at least 8 secondary sources, at least 2 of which need to be academic (i.e., scholarly books or academic journal articles)
