Health-Related Information. Serving as a public health resource requires one to know how to
identify valid and reliable online sources such as health related databases, disease specific sites,
health related organizations and research found in journal articles. This assignment will require
students to use the internet to find valid and reliable Health Education/Promotion Information as
well as present their findings to the class.
Directions for Students
There are three parts to this assignment: a two page narrative, oral video presentation (must
watch all of your peers presentations) and develop 1 slide with 5
interesting facts which you will also include in the discussion titled
“Internet Assignment.”
● 2 Page Narrative: 7 points

▪ Reasons this site is valid based on what you learned in chapter 9
▪ Description of links reached from this site and
▪ Description of how a health educator could use this site.
● Oral Video Presentation: 7 points
o Prepare a short oral report explaining the site to the class. Your video should
include you naming and describing the internet site and 5 interesting facts about
the site (on your PowerPoint slide). It should be available on YouTube and the
link copy and pasted onto a new thread in the discussion titled “internet

Catherine Albury (2013) “Steps for CFO improvement in strategic risk management”

Summary:

Strategic risk management is an important aspect of protection of an organization’s resources. The article highlights that it’s very important to have strategic risk management since we don’t know the time risk may occur. This has been a big gap left for big while by corporations and its now time that they put a lot of resources and time for strategic risk management to avoid getting to losses. This can only e achieved if the top management are willing to take correct interventions to save the organization from emerging issues.

The best way of solving the situations is by the use of actions and decisions of line management which can be used in protection from the excessive risk in the organizations. The top management are entitled to develop the strategies that will help in curbing the gap between them and the ground employees. They are supposed to analyze the risk that the subordinate staff are providing in the risk list. This will offer a better chance of critically coming up with solutions to mitigate them.

In the article, the writer gives steps that the CFOs should use so as to improve strategic risk management:

Building a link between business planning process and the risk management to develop a good integration that will synchronize all the process In the business plan into one; Organize the corporate discussions that are geared to development of strategic plan of risk management; Another step is for CFOs to communicate on investment and strategic decisions using the risk analytics, they are supposed to come up with decisions that are based on the facts derived from the risk analytics. This will then guide the top management on the appropriate action to take.

Any topic (writer’s choice)

You must write a final paper, as a form of critical meditation, on one (or more) case study artworks or exhibitions covered in class. This paper must also address, in depth, 2 -3 texts covered in class. Only one text may be from the same week as the case study. The idea is to reflect upon a combination of artworks and texts covered over the entire 10 weeks of our class. Your questions are prompts for you to return to the artworks/exhibitions/texts and dig deeper on what you initially found interesting. Please reference the Chicago Manuel of Style for footnotes etc. (posted on canvas)

Case Studies
You may select from either the case studies covered in required reading and/or those case studies covered in the supplemental reading. You may add other artworks to the discussion, but you must focus your primary analysis on a case study work covered in class. These include:
