Any topic (writer’s choice)

This is the second part of two-part critical assignment. The first part, the 10-15 minute video demonstration, form of a YouTube link. In the second part, due this week, students will complete a 2-page paper, wherein they will discuss their own rating of their video performance, along with the ratings provided by a peer (note: students should have shared their link with a peer and received the peer rating form back by Week 7, Day 6). Questions to consider in the paper: (a) how well did you think you did on the video, taking into consideration your own ratings? (b) how did your ratings compare to the ratings provided by your peer? (c) what discrepancies, if any, existed between your own ratings and the ratings of your peer? Why is this the case? and (d) what are your strengths and areas for growth, given the two sets of ratings?

instead of uploading the 10min video, I uploaded a script….The peer rating form is what my classmate rated me on.

Evidence Based Patient Centered Concept Map

Assessment Instructions
Preparation
You have been presented with a number of patient case files in the Evidence-Based Patient-Centered Care media piece. You reviewed each case, selected one case for further research, and created draft evidence-based concept map to illustrate an approach to individualized care for the patient. In this assessment, you will build upon and refine your draft concept map and develop a supporting narrative.

Create your concept map and narrative as separate documents. Be sure to note the areas where you need to include your evidence-based support and where you need to make clear your strategies for communicating information to the patient and the patient’s family.

Note: Many organizations use the spider style of concept maps (see the Taylor & Littleton-Kearney article for an example). Also, if a specific style of concept map is used in your current care setting, you may use it in this assessment.

Create your concept map and narrative as separate documents. Be sure to note the areas where you need to include your evidence-based support and where you need to make clear your strategies for communicating information to the patient and the patient’s family.

Requirements
Note: The requirements outlined below correspond to the grading criteria in the scoring guide, so be sure to address each point. In addition, you may want to review the performance level descriptions for each criterion to see how your work will be assessed.

Supporting Evidence and APA Style
Integrate relevant evidence from 3–5 current scholarly or professional sources to support your assertions.

Apply correct APA formatting to all in-text citations and references.
Attach a reference list to your narrative.

Analyzing Quantitative Variable

For this Discussion, you are going to determine analyze the relationship between two quantitative

variables.

Find bivariate quantitative data for 6-12 individuals. Report these values. Choose one of these ways to

collect your data:
Google your favorite sports team with the word “statistics” after it. Generally, you’ll find a list of players on

your team, along with data for several different variables. Choose two variables that you think are

interesting and copy down the values for 6-12 players. Saints!!
Use U.S. Census Bureau data, which you can find at the following link:

https://www.census.gov/quickfacts/fact/table/US/PST045219 (Links to an external site.). In the search box,

enter the name of a state. Click on the state name when it comes up. You’ll see a column for that state

added to the data table on the website. Choose 6-12 states. Choose two rows in the table that contain

variables that you think are interesting. Copy down the values for the states you chose.
Collect your own data for two quantitative variables from 6-12 individuals you know.
Identify which variable you want to be the explanatory variable and which you want to be the response

variable.
Compute the correlation coefficient r for your data and identify the critical value. State whether or not

there is a significant linear relationship.
