An assessment portfolio

An assessment portfolio (100 points; Due July 11) Select a grade level and course in your major field of study. There are textbooks in the Curriculum Materials Center. Select a two-three week unit of work within Health Education and develop a test construction project which includes the following:

A list of 5-15 instructional objectives subdivided into specific learning outcomes.

A list of subject matter topics and sub-topics to covered.

This list should be in the form of an outline of materials to be covered during the unit of study.

This can be illustrated with a curriculum map or as a pacing guide

A table of specification which includes the general instructional objectives across the top of the table and the major subject-matter topics down the side of the table.

In each cell of the table include the number of items to be assigned to that objective and subject matter topic.

The total test should include at least 50 items.

Try to make at least 50% of the items measure complex learning outcomes.

For those instructional objectives which cannot be measured by paper-and-pencil tests, an indication should be given to the type of evaluation to be used.

This project needs to be submitted as ONE single Word document.

Research and provide 3 authoritative sources from different locations on the topic you have chosen for your informative speech.

chosen for your informative speech. For your speech you are required to have 3 authoritative sources, where at least 2 are coming from a newspaper, magazine, or journal. This assignment will help you build the research for your speech.

The topic of your speech needs to be written at top of page.
You should have three sources.
Each source should include two paragraphs under a heading which states what type of source it is (see example below). Format each source like this:
An APA citation for the source (Use the APA Citation Guide from the Orientation Module.).

One paragraph that summarizes the information you plan to use from this source

One paragraph evaluating the source for credibility. Look back to the page on Authoritative Evidence to help you create your response. When evaluating for credibility, make sure you consider the source (publishers and author), source bias, currency, and credibility of the facts/statistic.

You can use this example Actions to help you understand formatting and a well-written annotated Bibliography. Keep in mind this isn’t perfect, but it should help you visualize what is expected of you. Also, this person has 5 sources, you will only need 3, although you can have more.

2 1 page writing prompts on music r&b and rock and roll

Write 1 page writing prompt on :
the various positions of whether or not Rock & Roll and R & B are the same genres. Cite specific figures and their views and include your own conclusion about which positions are most convincing. Figures or concepts you might cite include: John Lennon, George Nelson (of Billboard magazine), Peter Guralnick, Jimmy Meyers (also known as Jimmy DeKnight), Milt Gabler, the beat differences in the genres, the vocal timbre differences, Pat Boone, and Chuck Berry.

Include at least one song and a link to a performance of it in your writing. You must also include a few sentences about WHY you chose this song and HOW it relates to your answer.

write a separate 1 page writing prompt regarding:
Soul Music was undeniably a central part of the Civil Rights movement. Some songs, such as A Change is Gonna Come, address Civil Rights directly in their lyrics while other songs or performers seek to elevate the status of Black Americans in the eyes of White society without directly saying so in their lyrics (such as Berry Gordys carefully constructed MoTown images). Choose a song such as Respect by Aretha Franklin or Love Train by the OJays that is well-known today and usually not associated with Civil Rights. Look at the lyrics, the performance style, and other musical details and discuss how and why this song was able to be understood as advocating for Black Power or racial equality during the 1960s and 70s even though those ideas are not commonly evoked for modern listeners. Then choose a song from the same era that undeniably refers to these themes in its lyrics, such as The Revolution Will Not Be Televised or To Be Young, Gifted, and Black by Nina Simone. Compare and contrast the songs and their effectiveness, mentioning differences in lyrical content but ESPECIALLY differences and/or similarities in how the music is delivered role of rhythm, style of vocals, presence of Africanisms, etc. For each song, be sure to contextualize it in terms of time, place, and intended audience.

Assignment: Application of Crisis Theory and Resiliency Theory to a Case Study

It is common for social workers to be presented with a crisis situation brought forth by clients, families, communities, and/or organizations. The ultimate goal is to restore the client to equilibrium. The five stages of the crisis are (1) the hazardous event, (2) the vulnerable stage, (3) the precipitating factor, (4) the state of active crisis, and (5) the reintegration or crisis resolution phase.

There are times when a social worker will use more than one theory to assist in conceptualizing the problem and intervention, particularly if the theories complement each other. For example, resiliency theory can be used alongside crisis theory.

To prepare: Review and focus on the same case study that you chose in Week 2.

By Day 7

Submit a 1- to 2-page case write-up that addresses the following:

Map the client’s crisis using the five stages of the crisis.
Describe the client’s assets and resources (in order to understand the client’s resilience).
Describe how you, the social worker, will intervene to assist the client to reach the reintegration stage of the crisis. Be sure that the intervention promotes resiliency.
Evaluate how using crisis theory and resiliency theory together help in working with a client.
Be sure to:

Identify and correctly reference the case study you have chosen.
Use literature to support your claims.
Use APA formatting and style.
Remember to double-space your paper.
