From the list above, select a topic which interests you. You may suggest your own topic, but you need to get instructor’s permission to write about it.
Research the topic in detail.
Write a five page (double spaced) paper on your chosen topic.
Paper must have a title page, including the instructor’s name, course number, date, title of the paper, and student’s name.
This assignment must be typed.
Your paper must be properly documented according to the MLA format/style (see link to MLA instructions below in “grading the paper” section) of documentation (parenthetical notes within the text of the paper and a works cited page at the end of the paper). Your works cited must contain a minimum of five different sources, including at least one book, at least two periodicals, and at least one encyclopedia.

Needs Analysis

Mostly the writer will need to take information that will be provided (see parentheses in notes below) and arrange in a clear and concise way with all references (APA style) and address the challenges in making changes -see last part of instructions to address this.

    Provide introduction and rationale on issue provided to the writer. in problematizing, use evidence (citations) to support 1) what the problem is, 2) why one should care, and 3) what the impact of this problem is. Then, make the case for why change (your solution) is needed. (This is already completed and will be provided to the writer)
    Then propose a solution to the problem. Use evidence to support why the solution you are proposing is well-suited to address this problem. (This will be provided to the writer)
o    You should use at least 5 sources of evidence for your outlined/proposed solution. Your solution should be supported by examples of evidence (e.g., academic case studies, prior academic research/literature, manuals, resources with measurable outcomes or findings, etc.) (Some sources will be provided to the writer)
    When thinking and writing about the stakeholders related in the project, identify both internal and external stakeholders. Include those who will be directly impacted by your change project as a stakeholder. Also include those whose helps you think you need (those you need to enroll) to make your change project successful. Try to think about all possible stakeholders, but focus on writing about those you’ve identified as being most important to your specific project. (Stakeholder will be provided to the writer)
    Be sure to write out your assumptions about what each stakeholders’ needs are, and where they might be resistant or hesitant to help. Include ideas you have about overcoming some of these hurdles or resistance. Cite resources to support, as it makes sense. Mostly the writer needs to take information that will be provided and incorporate into the paper. The paper should be 5-6 pages, However, most of the writing will be provided for the writer to add to this assignment.

Lord of The Flies Essay

William Golding declared that “the theme [of Lord of the Flies] is an attempt to trace the defects of society back to the defects of human nature (quoted in Epstein par. 3), and you are going to prove him correct.

Directions for Writing: E.L. Epsteins article Notes on Lord of the Flies gives you the thesis for this essay. Using 2 examples from Lord of the Flies and 2 examples from a modern media example, prove Goldings view on human nature.

Modern Media Example (Must be an event after 1990)

The Actual Essay

Your introduction paragraph should include context for the novel and introduce Goldings view on human nature. First, decide on what examples you want to focus on in your essay: bystanderism, natural corruptness, group/mob mentality, etc. This will help you focus your thesis:
In an article by E.L. Epstein titled Notes on Lord of the Flies, Golding explains that the theme [of Lord of the Flies] is an attempt to trace the defects of society back to the defects of human nature (par. 3) and he shows this through _______ in the novel.

Your body paragraph should address 2 examples from Lord of the Flies to prove his viewpoint (make sure to prove that man is defective and that the society he creates is defective). This paragraph should be TPEC2.

Your body/concluding paragraph should address direct evidence from media source(s) that support Goldings claim in Lord of the Flies. This paragraph should be TPEC2.

You must have a Works Cited page for all sources (minimum of 3) you include in your essay.

Need a social media type website

People register using an email address, username and password.

All emails used to register an account must end in ac.uk.

Users can follow each other like on websites like instagram etc.

On their profiles they can see how many people follow them and how many people they follow. If they click on the followers or following, they will see all the people who follow them/they follow.

They should be able to change their password and username,

They can have a small biography that tells others about themselves/the items they post pics of.

People can post images of the stuff they want to sell and could leave tags under their posts. For example for a bike they could use #bike for the post. They should also say what university they go to under the photos.

Others can search items through the tags and or can search by university.

A homepage where there should be a time ordered feed of the pictures posted by the people they follow.

There should be an explore page where all items posted by all users are seen.

Users can like and comment on each others photos

Users can message each other about the items they are selling. But if someone wants to message someone they can only do so if they follow each other. If someone wants to send a message to someone who doesnt follow them it will send as a request where the other user can accept or reject.
