Staying Put: Summary Staying put offers an exposé regarding the nature which includes everything from spirituality to economy and environment (Sanders 357-361). It tackles issues regarding calmness and balance among people and how they affect the world around them. The concept of the center of the universe is even shown from various perspectives like the universal oneness concept of the Aborigines (Sanders 360) to scientific concept as the earth was once viewed as the center (Sanders 363). In terms of the perspective of theologians and religious experts, the concept of God is the center of the universe and talks about enlightenment like a zen master once said indirectly that the personal level of consciousness is the best place for enlightenment or to be the center of own universe of understanding (Sanders 364).

Awareness is the first important point to make directions toward a good future as people throughout centuries had dealt with difficult circumstances to study and create varying fields of studies to make solid patterns and knowledge on how to direct towards a better future for the entire humanity. Divergence in the specializations in knowledge reflect varying paths and mongrel realities like in the United States wherein culture, religions, beliefs, races and ideas mix in varying proportions (Sanders 358).

In relation to the dilemma of the future path of the world, it cannot be denied that there are three things that are constant: everything changes, everything has basis and everything is interconnected. Everything changes can mean that life is dynamic while having basis means everything happens for a reason. On the other hand, everything is interconnected shows the concept of unity which most religions teach to their faithful. The downside on the current trend of the world is that people are heading toward different directions and many are caught in the complexities that cause confusion as seen in ecology (Sanders 365).

write an article on Marketing: Mini-Cooper. It needs to be at least 2000 words.

Hello, I am looking for someone to write an article on Marketing: Mini-Cooper. It needs to be at least 2000 words. Demand in the United States, especially, has taken off, thanks to a marketing strategy designed to build mystique through stealth advertising and limited distribution”( Maynard)

Mini Cooper has attracted the world not only because of the unique features but because of the innovative marketing strategies as well. The manufacturer BMW has created waves of innovation in marketing and advertising strategies adopted for their car Mini Cooper which captured the attraction of worldwide people. This paper briefly analyses the features of Mini cooper and the marketing strategies adopted by BMW for marketing their product mini cooper in the international market.

“From the toggle switches for the windows and fog lights to the rocker buttons for the fan-speed controls, every switch and dial in the Mini feels of a piece with Mini and only the Mini. In truth, some of the components are gently massaged BMW parts, but thats not really obvious. And besides, BMW is a prestigious brand, so it’s not as if you’re getting second hand Daewoo stuff in your Mini”( Frank). Mini Cooper is not only attractive in appearance, but it is filled with a lot of useful features that other cars of the same type may not possess. Its hatch layout is well designed, with a low well for groceries and with seat uprights that flip forward 50/50. Mini Cooper excels in safety features also compared to its competitors. It has defeated its competitors in most of the road tests and also excelled in the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration crash tests. Moreover, it comes with six airbags (front, side, headliner), while its competitors only have standard front airbags. For an additional $500, people can purchase a Mini Cooper with stability control that will help keep the car on track in an emergency situation.

‘A marvelous marriage of British character and German know-how, the 2009 Mini Cooper is stylish, fun to drive and remarkably good on gas. Stellar fuel economy, sharp handling, excellent all-around&nbsp.performance in S and John Cooper Works trims, endearing retro styling, etc are the major features of the 2009 model of Mini Cooper’ (2009 MINI Cooper Review).

Flourens admired the dissecting skills of Gall but highly criticized his ideas of phrenology regarding both the psychological speculations and the support of cortical localization which was based on clinical observation. He studied the ablations on animals and proved that the mind was not located in the heart, but in the brain. For his criticism, he provided experimental evidence and questioned the functional localization within the brain. He applied the technique of ablation or extirpation which is known as the surgical removal of some parts of the brain to analyze how other parts would function without that part and observing the postoperative behavior. Floren’s investigation has been a turning point in the modern era. He researched the extirpation of the cerebellum’s increasing parts which, according to him, were involved in the posture control. Through this, he examined the maintenance of physical balance in a greater deal.

5. The methods Fechner proposed are highly important for the analysis of relative and absolute thresholds. The problem in absolute thresholds is to determine the least amount of sensation detected by a person. Three methods would yield similar data in the determination of thresholds. Fechner also introduced the usage of averages to balance the differences that he realized were present due to individual differences and which needed to be controlled. His methods were the method of limits in which he showed that two stimuli were his research subjects, the method of constant stimuli in which he presented a randomly chosen from a small set, and the method of adjustment in which his research subject could make changes to one stimulus (Benjamin 65). Through these methods, he could use sound devices to determine the absolute threshold.

6. Brentano and Wundt have had opposing views in the history of psychology. Wundt had been pained in psychology as a physical reductionist while Brentano was painted as being a more holistic theorist. Brentano felt that physicist dealt with assumed realities which were assumedly objective.

Besides, in managing patients with several complications, both psychology and nursing practices are required to understand the root of the problem. Therefore, nurses need to have a broad knowledge of therapies to use to alleviate the situation before it escalates to unmanageable levels. It is also vital to understand that when evaluating a patient’s health status, nurses primarily reflect on how patients respond to their conditions. Some individuals are optimistic and respond positively to their complications.

However, others respond negatively and sometimes tend to escalate or complicate their situations for something little that is easily manageable. Such clients are mostly stubborn and get easily agitated with minor things. Nurses may perhaps find it challenging to handle such incidences. However, instead of running away from such cases, nurses are required to assist such patients in coping up with the realities of their conditions. They need to have the counseling bit of psychology to guide such patients to full recovery.

Psychology will provide them with skills critical to patient management based on age and gender. For instance, minors are in most cases more afraid that the elderly and nurses might find it problematic to understand their illness. As a practicing nurse, I need to acknowledge the relevance of psychology to the nursing profession fully. As mentioned above, psychology has a significant role to play in my nursing practice. Failure of which will pose greater repercussions to my career.
