Recent estimates have shown that the Persian Gulf region has one of the highest population growth rates in the world. Research has shown that the majority of the citizens happen to be the youth. The youth as a group may have certain difficulties in adjusting to social change within the region. Additionally, there are problems with employment and other economic crises that may arise out of this youth outburst. Political transformations are also affected by the demographics of the regions. (Kartha, 1999)

In the year 2007, it was found that the population in the Persian Gulf stands at 430 million. Researchers have projected that the population will almost double by the year 2050. This means that there is an overwhelming number of youth currently. Most of them lie between the ages of ten and twenty-four. A similar survey found that a third of the population lies between the pages listed above. This means that these youth could continue propagating the population. A certain number of issues arise from these statistics. First of all, the overwhelming numbers of youth cannot be absorbed by the regions’ employment opportunities. These youth need to gain access to training and jobs but the region cannot provide this.

Part of the reason why the youth unemployment rate is high is that there are certain prevalent systems that impede their access to these jobs. First and foremost, institutional impediments i.e. government entitlements that currently exist block the youth from job markets. Secondly, political instability makes it difficult to provide jobs for the youth. There is also a high level of mismatch in jobs. Additionally, more companies tend to recruit foreigners. this is highlighted by the fact that about fifty per cent of workers in the Persian Gulf region are foreigners. Therefore the countries in the Persian Gulf have to deal with the fact that most of them lack the ability to provide employment for their youth. (Beaty, 2004) Religion is also another fundamental issue that affects the world’s population. This is because the Persian Gulf has the highest following of Muslim faithful in the world. They have played a role in shaping the world’s history through their religion.

Redress mechanisms in UK Redress mechanisms in UKThe UK Administrative and Constitutional law requires that the redress systems be of service to the citizens as opposed to adherences of the set regulations1. In this case, these systems will be more inclined on championing for the rights of the citizens of UK. For instance, in the UK the Ombudsman must be vocal enough in pointing out the issues facing the public. thus, a straightforward complaint process. However, it is important to note that, despite the fact that persons wish that these mechanisms be independent, not all redress mechanisms are independent.

A good example is the tribunals that are managed by independent tribunals that automatically have to be independent. This is for the reason that they function in a quasi-judicial approach that needs no influence from other forces. These tribunals would, therefore, make it easier for implementation of policies of the tribunals. The Ombudsmen services are yet other independent bodies2. They are run under the leadership of independent Ombudsmen, mostly referred to as commissioners. These bodies need to be independent for the reason that they are charged with the responsibility of investigating various complaints from the citizens.

In the case of poor administration, or even offering of poor services to the citizens, these organizations ought to operate independently, if the results have to be free and fair. The Parliamentary and Health Services Ombudsman Offices are the most common in UK.Of essence, it would be justified to argue that redress mechanisms need to operate independently so that they can conduct reasonable investigations, and give extensive reports. Q1. This assignment is for data collection (10 points) and data analysis (15 points) of at least ten countries to be selected by individual students from 5 continents regarding their economic, political, institutional, demographic, and social structure.

Select at least 10 countries (including the country you select for writing your research paper) with a combination of low income, high income and middle income countries from the five continents. Make a table using the template below to include information in the table.

Country Population Income GDP Econo Income Political HDI % of
and/Population category Growth mic Distribution system   people
density   rate and System Gini and   have
GDP per   Coefficient Economic   access to

Source: (You must give sources of data here that collected).

Based on the information gathered and filled out in the Table, analyze the following aspects: Critically and analytically write a brief essay about economic performances of the countries you have selected reflecting economic systems, demographic, political, and social characteristics.

Your analysis should also indicate a brief historical transformation of economic systems since the end of the WWII, along with the challenges these countries are currently facing for further economic progress. The contents of your analysis are expected to demonstrate not only the data you will have displayed in the above table, but also a combination of qualitative and numerical data analysis from the table.

Provide a 5 pages analysis while answering the following question: Psychiatric Disorders. Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide. An abstract is required.

A very complex relationship of causation factors and the manifestation of the various psychiatric disorders make it difficult to diagnose and treat them, with a huge gap still existing on their development mechanisms. In this discourse, several psychiatric disorders are discussed with a presentation of views on theory and effective drug regimes, also accompanying the presentation.&nbsp. &nbsp.&nbsp.

Schizophrenia

Schizophrenia(s) involves a spectrum of disorders characterized by disjointed psychic functioning earlier though to be constituted by the breakdown in the coordination of emotions, thinking and actions among the victims.

Usually, extreme mental illnesses such as madness are linked with schizophrenia. A major observation in the spectrum of disorders referred to as schizophrenia is a changing manifestation pattern as the victim progresses in age. The difficulty in devising appropriate interventions in this category of disorders is spelled by several overlapping symptoms that may also be experienced by victims of neurological disorders. Some of the key diagnosis symptoms for schizophrenia include. delusional thoughts, inappropriate effects, hallucinations, incoherent thinking, and odd behavior.

Repetitive occurrence and the manifestation of any two of these symptoms is sufficient to suspect schizophrenia (Pinel, 2009).

Major theoretical explanations for the establishment of schizophrenia are developmental and dopamine theories. Developmental theories attach meaning to faulty brain development possibilities at the fetal or infant stages that subsequently affect psychological development. Dopamine theory relies on the premise that a high concentration of dopamine leads to schizophrenia.

Drugs of choice over the research period have included chlorpromazine and other phenothiazines (inactivation of dopamine receptors D1 and D2 and its activity but reduces severity in some schizophrenias but activates others), reserpine (abandoned because effective dosage generates severe drops in blood pressure). Haloperidol, droperidol and other butyrophenones act similarly as chlorpromazine but only on D2 receptors and have a higher receptor binding effectiveness than chlorpromazine. Both drugs cause Parkinson’s related symptoms.
