The different kinds of religion as identified by Wallace are. Shamanic, Communal, Olympian, and Monotheistic. Shamanic religion is a characteristic of foraging societies. This kind of religion is religious figures called Shamans, who are the mediators between people and supernatural beings and forces. Shamans include curers, spiritualists, astrologers, and diviners.
