Hi, need to submit a 1250 words paper on the topic Laws Pertaining to Early Childhood Intervention Programs for Children with Disabilities. For a teacher, it will be important to understand the problems of such children in the classroom, in order to plan their lessons accordingly. Children with special needs require special support with their learning styles. A multisensory approach is the best which supports the child in all the three ways: auditory, visual and kinesthetic. ICT offers many solutions for children with disabilities. Teachers must understand that children with special needs need extra time and effort in understanding the lesson, and hence they should be treated quite differently in lesson, but not in a way that makes them stand out. Hence, teachers must implement such learning strategies that help dyslexic children retain information in their memory for longer time, while helping them maintain their self-esteem at the same time. There are many laws that address the needs of special children. This paper discusses some laws pertaining to special education, and how these laws will be helpful for a classroom having children with special needs.
